My client is currently looking to recruit a Senior Production Operator to join their site on the outskirts of Glasgow. You will be working with a successful manufacturer, that have a culture on site that is results-driven with a strong focus on continuous improvement. The Senior Production Operator will have accountability for ensuring production targets are achieved and is responsible for all production, quality and labour resources. You will drive performance alongside the production plan ensuring that customer deliveries are achieved.

The Team Leader role has accountability for ensuring production targets are achieved and is responsible for all production, quality and labour resources. You will be expected to drive adherence to the production plan to ensure customer deliveries are achieved in full and on time, every time.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure a high level of production plan adherence and for any non-adherence ensure a recovery plan is in place to protect customer delivery
  • Monitor and drive all key KPI and PI performance in the area
  • Actively manage and drive H&S within the team
  • Identify opportunities for improvement within the production area
  • Manage your teams performance, coaching them to be the best they can be

Experience required:

  • Experience of championing continuous improvement methodologies within a manufacturing setting
  • Previous management experience in a fast paced manufacturing environment
  • Ability to develop and engage a high performing team



This role will cover shifts - day, back & night. Flexibility to working a shift pattern, or prior experience working a similar shift pattern, is required.
