Your new companyEstablished charity organisation with operations in Glasgow. Due to an ongoing program of expansion and modernisation, they are looking to hire an experienced business analyst to join their busy team.

Your new roleAs a business analyst, you will play a pivotal role in the successful implementation of a new finance system. The primary focus will be on future state analysis and vendor selection, ensuring that the chosen solution aligns with the organization's strategic goals and operational needs. This role involves conducting comprehensive assessments of current finance processes and systems, identifying gaps and opportunities for improvement in alignment with business objectives. Developing detailed future state models and process flows to support the new finance system will be a key responsibility. The Business Analyst will collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and ensure alignment with business goals, creating and presenting future state documentation to senior management and project teams.

What you'll need to succeedThe ideal candidate will have experience of the following:

  • Experience in business analysis, finance system implementation would be advantageous but not essential.
  • Proven track record of conducting future state analysis and process modelling.
  • Experience in vendor selection and evaluation.
  • Previous roles involving collaboration with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Experience in presenting findings and recommendations to senior management.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Knowledge of best practices in vendor selection and management.
  • Awareness of current trends and technologies.
  • Understanding of change management principles.
