We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Analyst to join our client at a leading retail bank. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the bank's efforts to combat financial crime.

Rate: up to £430 a day (Inside IR35)

Contract Length: 9 Months Initially (Very High Chance of Extension)

Location: Mainly Remote with occasional travel to Office

Start Date: January 2025

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage with stakeholders to build and maintain strong working relationships.
  • Plan and manage the business analysis approach on projects, leveraging a variety of tools and techniques.
  • Apply analytical skills to define and communicate clear, concise, and actionable business requirements.
  • Gather detailed requirements and designs from high-level features.
  • Analyze the business impact of requirements and ensure business readiness for change.
  • Lead or participate in initiatives to enhance business analysis capabilities within the team.

Key Skills and Experiences:

  • Proven experience working as a Business Analyst within an IT or Business Change program.
  • Strong understanding of Fraud and Financial Crime domains.
  • Solid experience in applying Business Analysis methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and influencing skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
