An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Estimator to join a leading Facilities Management provider. This role is perfect for a commercially aware professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is confident in managing tenders, pricing contracts, and delivering competitive bids.

  • The Role:

As an Estimator, you will play a key role in securing new business and ensuring the financial success of projects. You will be responsible for:

  • Managing tenders and estimates for M&E Lifecycle, Sustainability, and Contract Variation projects.
  • Conducting site surveys and preparing accurate pricing structures.
  • Developing tender strategies alongside commercial, bid, and operational teams.
  • Negotiating terms and securing the best pricing from supply chain partners.
  • Ensuring compliance with industry standards and maintaining profitable margins.
  • Preparing detailed commercial reports for senior management.
  • Experience and Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in estimating within the Facilities Management or Building Services industry.
  • Strong commercial awareness with the ability to assess contract risks and opportunities.
  • Ability to manage tenders from initial enquiry to final submission.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • High level of self-motivation, problem-solving ability, and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with advanced Excel skills being an advantage.
  • HND in Construction or Building Services (or equivalent qualification) is desirable.
