Job Advert: Facilities Supervisor (M&E Biased)
Location: Various Sites (Including Colleges)
Salary: Up to 44,000 (DOE) + Company Van & Fuel Card
Are you an experienced Facilities Supervisor with a strong Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) background? Are you ready for your next challenge in facilities management, working on lifecycle projects and maintaining a diverse range of buildings, including educational institutions such as colleges?
Our client is a leading player in the facilities management sector and is looking for a skilled and dynamic Facilities Supervisor to join their team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing M&E services and ensuring the effective delivery of planned and reactive maintenance across multiple sites.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate the maintenance, repair, and operation of M&E services across various sites.
- Manage lifecycle projects from inception to completion, ensuring that work is carried out to the highest standards.
- Oversee and support a team of on-site engineers and contractors, providing technical guidance where necessary.
- Ensure compliance with all health & safety regulations and company standards.
- Conduct regular site inspections to ensure quality control and identify areas for improvement.
- Liaise with clients, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure smooth project delivery.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and project progress.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a supervisory role within facilities management, with a bias towards M&E.
- Strong knowledge of Mechanical & Electrical systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and electrical installations.
- Experience in managing lifecycle projects, particularly in educational or similar large-scale environments.
- Ability to lead, manage and motivate a team of engineers and subcontractors.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
- Full UK driving licence (essential).
