Job Overview:We are currently recruiting an experienced Class 2 HGV Driver in Glasgow to deliver fresh produce to business clients. This role requires an immediate start, with employment set to begin by 2nd November. The initial contract is for 4-6 weeks, with the potential for extension based on performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver fresh produce to businesses across Glasgow and surrounding areas, ensuring timely and safe transportation
- Adhere to assigned routes and delivery schedules to meet deadlines
- Conduct daily vehicle inspections and report any mechanical issues promptly
- Maintain accurate delivery records and complete necessary paperwork
- Provide friendly, professional service to clients
Requirements:
- Valid Class 2 HGV license, CPC, and Digital Tachograph Card
- Previous experience as a Class 2 HGV driver 1 year minimum
- Good knowledge of the Glasgow area
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to start immediately and commit to the full duration of the contract
