Class 2 Driver

KPI Recruiting have a fantasic opportunity for a Class 2 Driver within the Glasgow area.

As a Class 2 Driver you will be working:

• 5 of 6 days from Monday to Saturday
• 0530 start most mornings.

Our client is looking for someone with multidrop & trunking experance.

The rate of pay as a Class 2 Driver is:

• £14.50 p/h

Key Responsibilities as a Class 2 Driver:

Delivery & Collection:

• Varation of trunking & multi drop delivers.
• Transport full loads to various locations within the central belt & runs to Aberdeen
• Ensure all deliveries are made on time and in good condition.

Vehicle Checks:

• Perform pre- and post-shift vehicle inspections.
• Report any non-conformities or near misses to the line manager.

Safety & Compliance:

• Secure freight properly for transit.
• Adhere to all driver regulations and safety protocols.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Proven experience driving a Heavy Goods Vehicle (HGV).
• Ability to meet delivery timelines efficiently.
• Respect and pride for maintaining the vehicle and equipment.
• Excellent customer service skills.

Required Certifications for a Class 2 Driver are:

• Digital Tacho Card
• Valid Driving License for Class 2 vehicles
• Driver CPC Certification
• Strong knowledge of driver regulations
• 6 months class 2 experience
• No more than 6 point
• No major endorsements ie DR10, DD30,IN10  
• No criminal convictions
