Red Recruitment Group urgently require an experienced, Warehouse Assistant / Van Driver for our National client in Govan, Glasgow.
Our client is looking forcandidates who arehappy to work full time in the warehouse, with the requirement to cover delivery driving duties, and also help out in the office when other staff are off on annual leave.
You must havea proactive and professional attitude, and also offer a positive customer service experience to their clients.
Basic data entry on computer systems will be required so experience in Microsoft IT packages such as office, email, outlook,word and excel are essential.
You will also be performing delivery duties as part of your role. Driving a long wheel based Mercedes Sprinter type van.
Manual handling products into clients premises, and gaining proof of deliveries as you go.
A clean licence would be preferred, however minor points up to 6 are acceptable.
No previous IN / DD / DR / CDconvictions will be accepted for insurance reasons. Drivers must also be aged 25 and over.
Candidates with an automotive background would be ideal, although not essential to be successful with this opportunity.
Working hours are 08:00am - 5:30pm Monday to Friday with every other Saturday morning 08:00am to 1:00pm plus overtime.
The role is 2 weeks temporary to permanent .
Weekly paid during the temporary assignment period, monthly paid when permanent.
