Joiner, Glasgow, Salary £30,000 to £32,000 per annum + Training Opportunities!

Joiner required to join a leading Facilities Management company covering reactive Maintenance contracts on a prestigious static site in Glasgow.

Aspirare welcome applications from candidates who have a strong background in joinery/carpentry. Experience carrying out other facilities tasks are desirable.

The Joiner will receive:

Main responsibilities of our Joiners are:

  • Hanging doors in line with fire safety regulations and carry out remedial works following maintenance checks.
  • General joinery works in commercial premises such as building partitions, fitting, and boarding windows.
  • Fitting ironmongery and fittings such as intumescent strips, hinges, handles, and locks.
  • General multi-disciplined works if required e.g. painting and varnishing to finished pieces.

 

Essential requirements of the Joiner:

  • Time served/NVQ level 2 qualified in carpentry and joinery.
  • Experience hanging and installing doors and fittings.
  • Experience working within commercial premises such as retail, hospitality and/or office spaces.
  • Knowledge of fire door regulations and/or fire door installation experience (preferred however not essential).
