Search Consultancy are delighted to be working with our client, a private hospital based in Glasgow to find the next key member of their kitchen team.This is a 12 week Temp to Perm position where you will work for Search initially for 12 weeks before transferring across to the client on a full time permanent basis.Working 5 days out 7 with shift times a mix between 07:00-15:00 and 10:00-18:00 this is a great opportunity to find that all important work life balance.Our client has a settled team (The head chef has been in position for 24 years!) and are looking to add someone without an ego who can fit into the team and push towards their goals for the year. This is a fresh food environment where everything is made in house from scratch, you'll work on a variety of sections, delivery high quality meals 3 times a day (breakfast, lunch and dinner).Day to day duties include - * Assist the Head Chef with daily operations, from prep through to service.* Ensure kitchen is kept clean and tidy.* Ensure food hygiene and health and safety standards are upheld.* Support with stock management, ordering, and maintaining gross profit margins.* Step up to help lead the kitchen in the Head Chef's absence.To be considered for this role you MUST hold a valid PVG, those without will not be considered for the role.
