HRC Hospitality are seeking for care home chefs in Glasgow & Lanarkshire to join their hospitality team on the temporary side of the sector!
About the role:
- A variety of shifts will be offered each week, throughout a variety of locations depending on your availability each week,
- Each shift worked is paid weekly, so anything worked between Monday to Sunday of one week gets paid the following Friday,
- The rate of pay depends on the client, but it will normally be between £14 - £15 per hour,
- The role involves being a chef within the care sector, for example - care home, sheltered housing, children's unit or rehabilitation centre.
- These shifts that will be offered will be day shifts,
What we're looking for:
- Chefs who have had at least one year experience working as a chef in a similar environment,
- Chefs who are confident when it comes to catering for specific dietary requirements
- Chefs who are confident at cooking for care homes that could have up to 80 residents
- Chefs who have completed food safety and allergen awareness training - however HRC can provide refresher training on this.
- A PVG check will be required before taking any shifts with us, however HRC will cover the costs of these checks.
