Site Technician EWI
Site Technician EWIÂ daily duties:
- Ensure best practices to protect and enhance the reputation of the company, customers, products, and systems
- Systematically inspect ongoing and installed projects for specification compliance
- Monitor purchasing to ensure system components are procured through Soltherm
- Deliver contractor training programs in both classroom and practical settings
- Build and manage customer relationships on-site; assist commercial teams
- Address daily onsite enquiries for product, technical, and system information
- Provide specification, technical, and application advice for complex construction projects
- Attend project design meetings and pre-start site meetings with main contractors, architects, and sub-contractors
- Handle physically demanding tasks, work in all weather conditions, at height, and travel between sites, including possible overnight stays
- Provide technical support in Northern Ireland and the Isle of Man
Site Technician EWIÂ REQUIREMENTS:
- Plasterer/render applicator to trade with a minimum 3 years’ experience
- Conduct technical site visits, meticulously inspecting ongoing and completed projects for adherence to specifications
- Train contractors in the proper application and performance of Soltherm products, both in the classroom and hands-on
- Partner with clients and contractors, attending pre-start meetings and design discussions to offer technical guidance
- Proactively identify and address potential issues before they escalate, minimising rework and ensuring customer satisfaction
- This role requires a candidate who is based in central Scotland or willing to work in central Scotland on a permanent basis
SKILLS and QUALIFICATIONS:
- Build strong relationships with customers and contractors, fostering trust and loyalty to the Soltherm brand
- Clearly and concisely communicate technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Provide regular reports to sales managers and senior management, keeping everyone informed and aligned
- Possess a deep understanding of building technology and construction practices
- Be a natural communicator, adept at working independently and collaboratively
- Demonstrate a customer-centric approach, prioritising satisfaction at every step
- Thrive in a physically demanding environment with diverse weather conditions
- Hold a clean driving license and be comfortable traveling throughout your region, with occasional overnight stay
