Company Overview:
We are a leading player in the food industry, delivering high-quality products to retailers across Scotland. As we continue to grow, we are looking for a motivated and results-driven Area Sales Executive to join our team. This role offers an excellent opportunity for a dynamic individual to manage an established territory while driving new business growth.

Role Overview:
As the Area Sales Executive, you will be responsible for managing an existing territory worth £600k - £800k, focusing on account management, business development, and winning new business. Your role will include increasing account spend, building strong relationships with retailers, and consistently generating new leads and appointments.

You will play a key role in expanding our brand presence across Scotland, with occasional overnight stays when required, ensuring the highest level of customer service and satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Account Management: Build strong relationships with existing retail accounts, maximizing opportunities and increasing account spend.
  • Business Development: Identify and win new business opportunities with retailers across the region.
  • New Customer Acquisition: Generate and convert new leads into customers, contributing to company growth.
  • Sales Meetings: Plan and execute sales appointments, presentations, and negotiations with retailers.
  • Territory Management: Take ownership of a £600k - £800k existing territory and work to increase its value.
  • Commission Structure: Enjoy uncapped commission based on sales performance.
  • Overnight Stays: Occasional overnight stays as needed to cover remote areas and meetings.

Key Requirements:

  • Proven experience in sales within the food industry (FMCG).
  • Strong track record in account management, business development, and winning new business.
  • Ability to increase account spend and generate new customer opportunities.
  • Self-motivated with excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Full UK driving license and ability to travel within the region.
  • Ideally located close to the central belt of Scotland, but applications from outside this area are welcome.

What We Offer:

  • Salary: £32,000 - £36,000 per annum.
  • Uncapped Commission: Approx. £5k-£10k per annum based on performance.
