Business Development Manager Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and enhance the performance of your accounts.
- Provide mentoring, training and guidance to agents, driving revenue and profitability.
- Use your creativity to achieve the best results, demonstrating your impact through regular reports.
- Manage a defined territory and customer base, acting as the first contact for travel agencies.
- Develop new agent strategies and routes to market.
- Conduct customer and store visits, meetings, and presentations.
- Oversee strategic planning of sales activities and monitor revenue development.
- Maintain and improve company Trustpilot score.
- Represent the business at industry events and occasionally travel to their Ireland HQ for meetings.
What do you look like?
- Previous experience in a B2B and B2C sales role within the travel industry is desirable.
- Ideally based in Scotland.
- Excellent communication, organisational, and planning skills.
- Strong team player with a creative approach to solving commercial challenges.
- Confident in delivering presentations to small and large groups.
- Proficient in problem-solving, prioritising objectives, and driving performance.
- Understanding of negotiation techniques and excellent relationship-building skills.
- Flexibility to work some weekends and evenings and travel extensively across Scotland.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Clean UK Driving License.
