An award winning geotechnical and geo-environmental consultancy with offices and projects across the UK are seeking a graduate engineering geologist to join the team on a range of exciting ground investigation projects. The Graduate Engineering Geologist selected will be working away frequently on projects across the country, developing skills and knowledge alongside industry leading consultants. You'll be assisting with site walkovers, carrying out ground investigations, carrying out desktop studies, soil and rock sampling, borehole logging, writing factual and interpretive reports and groundwater gas monitoring.
The position requires no previous industry experience. Candidates must however:
- Have a minimum of a BSc in geology, engineering geology, geotechnical engineering, geoscience or a relevant subject (MSc preferable).
- Engineering Geologists should be keen to learn and develop ground investigation techniques and get stuck in to role.
- Be willing to work outdoors on hands on projects.
- Hold a full UK driving licence.
- Be commutable to Glasgow and the surrounding area.
- Have a full right to work in the UK.
