Job Title: Senior Civil Engineer
Salary: 45,000 to 55,000 (dependent on experience) + package
Location: Glasgow or Birmingham (Hybrid)

About the Role:
Our client is seeking Senior Civil Engineers to join their dynamic UK design team. You'll take a lead role in delivering civil design projects for the water industry, working on multidisciplinary teams. Duties include:
- Leading projects or work packages and mentoring junior staff.
- Conducting site visits, report writing, and producing design drawings and calculations.
- Supporting health and safety initiatives and delivering at all project stages, from feasibility to commissioning.
- This role supports the expanding water utilities portfolio, including both infrastructure and non-infrastructure projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and review design concepts, calculations, specifications, and drawings.
- Supervise and mentor junior team members, ensuring timely and budget-compliant project delivery.
- Support resource and budget management for projects.
- Prepare feasibility studies, assessment reports, and technical documents.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards.

- Qualifications: A relevant degree, ideally with professional qualifications (or equivalent experience).
- Technical Expertise: Strong background in water/wastewater infrastructure design, with familiarity with tools like AutoCAD.
- Skills: Excellent communication, organisational, and team leadership skills.
