With a client base across the public sector and some of the largest residential developers in the country, they can offer a permanent, sustainable career to their employees.Your new roleAs Contracts Engineer, you will use your background in civil engineering to oversee and manage a range of projects in the road and transport space. From offering surfacing and repair services to various local councils or managing road construction projects on new residential developments, this is a busy and varied role, allowing you to develop your engineering experience into project management. Working with your Director and commercial team director, you will be responsible for managing these projects from start to finish. From supervising and managing your labourforce to reporting progress to your client, this role will be multifaceted and allow an ambitious candidate to develop their skillset quickly.What you'll need to succeedThe ideal candidate is from a civil engineering background, ideally with expertise in the roads/blacktop sector. You will have excellent communication skills and are comfortable onsite working with your operatives as well as sitting in meetings with your clients.
