Sub Agent Opportunity - Rail Infrastructure
We are seeking an experienced Sub Agent on behalf of a well-established company in the rail infrastructure sector, based in the Central Belt of Scotland. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in delivering major infrastructure projects while progressing your career within a reputable organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the Site Agent in managing the day-to-day operations of rail and civil engineering projects.
- Ensure that all work is delivered in line with project specifications, safety standards, and timelines.
- Lead and manage site teams, including subcontractors, to ensure efficient project delivery.
- Monitor site progress, addressing any issues and ensuring compliance with safety and environmental standards.
- Maintain accurate site records, including daily diaries, risk assessments, and method statements.
- Liaise with project managers, clients, and stakeholders to ensure smooth communication and project delivery.
Candidate Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Sub Agent or in a similar supervisory role within the rail, civil engineering, or infrastructure sectors.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage teams and ensure high-quality work standards.
- Excellent understanding of health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Effective problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Experience with project documentation, including risk assessments, method statements, and progress reporting.
- CSCS card and SMSTS (or equivalent) are essential qualifications.
