Civil Estimator

We're seeking a skilled Civil Bias Estimator to join a leading rail and infrastructure solutions provider, known for delivering high-quality civil engineering projects across Scotland. This role offers the opportunity to be a part of a dynamic team, contributing to a wide range of civil engineering projects.Key Responsibilities:- Accurately estimating costs for civil engineering works, including earthworks, drainage, structures, and foundation work.- Collaborating with project teams to assess project requirements and prepare bids.- Conducting site visits, understanding project scopes, and compiling accurate cost estimates.- Working with procurement to source and price materials and liaise with suppliers.- Preparing and presenting cost reports to management and assisting in budgeting and forecasting.Qualifications:- Proven experience as an estimator in civil engineering, ideally with rail or infrastructure projects.- Strong knowledge of civil construction methods, materials, and costs.- Proficiency in estimating software and advanced Excel skills.- Excellent communication and analytical skills, with the ability to work under tight deadlines.Benefits:- Competitive salary package- Opportunities for professional development- A supportive and inclusive work environment Ready to take the next step in your career?
