Job Purpose:

Red Sky Personnel is seeking a dynamic and experienced Business Leader to drive growth in the civil engineering sector, focusing on substations, access roads, foundations, and heavy structures in Scotland. The ideal candidate will excel in business development, manage client relationships, and lead project teams to deliver high-quality engineering projects. This role demands a proactive leader who can identify new opportunities, manage key accounts, and ensure that project execution aligns with client needs and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Business Development:

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the civil engineering sector.
  • Develop and implement strategic business development plans to enhance the company's presence in the Scottish market.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and government authorities.
  • Lead contract negotiations to ensure profitable and sustainable growth.
  • Participate in industry events and conferences to increase company visibility and network within the sector.

Client Relationship Management:

  • Act as the primary contact for clients, ensuring excellent service delivery and satisfaction.
  • Understand client needs to provide tailored solutions that meet project objectives.
  • Monitor client feedback and continuously improve service delivery.
  • Manage expectations and resolve any issues during project execution.

Leadership and Team Management:

  • Lead and mentor a team of civil engineers, project managers, and business development professionals.
  • Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and high performance within the team.
  • Oversee resource planning and allocation to ensure effective project execution.
  • Promote a safe working environment and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.

Project Management:
