Revit would be essential to succeed in the role.
Skills, Experience and Responsibilities for the role of Senior Architectural Technician:
- Lead and manage the technical delivery of projects, ensuring high-quality outputs and adherence to project timelines.
- Collaborate closely with architects, designers, and other team members to develop detailed technical drawings and specifications.
- Oversee the preparation and submission of planning and building control applications.
- Utilise advanced Revit/ BIM software to produce detailed construction documents.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior technicians and support staff.
- Ensure compliance with building regulations and planning policies.
- You should uphold substantial post qualification experience in an architectural technician role, with a strong portfolio showcasing technical proficiency and project experience.
- Proficiency in Revit, and other industry-standard software's.
- Comprehensive knowledge of building regulations, construction processes, and detailing.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- A degree or diploma in Architectural Technology or a related field.
