The position is for a Senior Signalling Technician based in Glasgow, offering a salary of £30,459 with a potential roster premium of up to £41,119.65.
This is a permanent role requiring 140 hours of work over a 4-week roster, including nights and weekends (2 weekends out of 4).
Responsibilities include supporting the Signalling Team Leader with signalling works, ensuring safety and compliance, and undertaking COSS duties as needed.
Candidates must have at least 2 years of rail signalling experience or a background in electrical or mechanical equipment, along with PTS, COSS, and SMTH certifications.
A full UK driving licence is also required to travel to various sites for the job.

Senior Signalling Technician - The salary is 30,459 with a roster premium of 35% - 41,119.65, permanent position, location, Glasgow (required to work at different sites), hours are 140 hours over 4 weeks (4-week roster). Will have to work nights and weekends (2 weekends out of 4).

Responsibilities:

Support and assist the Signalling Team Leader in carrying out signalling or other associated works as directed in a safe and responsible manner.
Responsible for assisting the Signalling Team Leader in all duties, including, but not limited to, signalling disconnections/reconnections, SMTH testing, ensuring all work is carried out in a safe and compliant manner.
Undertake COSS duties as required.
Use power tools and portable plant where certified to do so

Required experience:

Must have rail signalling experience
2 years' work experience or previous background working with either electrical or mechanical equipment.
Must have PTS, COSS and SMTH
Must have a full UK driving licence in order to travel to different sites
