CNC Engineer / CNC Miller / Machinist Role
- Operating manual lathes and mills to produce and repair precision parts for various mechanical products such as hydraulic and pneumatic systems at the workshop in Glasgow.
- Service and repair manual and CNC machinery, carrying out diagnostics and implementing suitable repair.
- Participate in training for additional skills, such as thermal spraying and welding, to expand expertise.
- Liaise with various engineering departments
CNC Engineer / CNC Miller / Machinist Requirements:
- Experience servicing and repair manual and CNC Machinery.
- Proven experience with manual machine tools such as lathes and mills, and mechanical assemblies.
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Apprenticeship or engineering qualification in mechanical or machining disciplines is advantageous.
- Reading technical drawings, setting up machines, and ensuring adherence to tight tolerances is essential.
- Commutable to the workshop in Glasgow
