MAA Recruitment are looking for a CNC Turner/Machinist for one of our clients based in and around Cumbernauld area. This is a permanent role with great potential to be part of this manufacturing company.
Role:
Setting and Operating CNC Horizontal lathes - Mori Seiki and Leadwell.
Controlling and editing CNC programs - Fanuc
Working various CNC machines
Machining valve and gauge components
Working with stainless steel and exotic materials such as Hastelloy C276, Duplex and Incoloy
Skills:
Time Served CNC Turner/Machinist - City &Guilds/Modern Apprenticeship
Fanuc editing and setting experience
Able to read engineering drawings
Hours:
36 hours per week basic
Rotating shift pattern - 2 weeks early shift and then 2 weeks back shift
Early Shift - Mon-Thurs 6am-2.15, Fri 6am-11.10am
Back Shift - Mon-Thurs 2.15pm-11.45pm
Money:
£16-£16.70/hr with a 20% uplift for shift pattern
Uplift of 20% is for both early and back shift
Overtime time plus half on weekday and Saturdays
Overtime double on Sundays
