Randstad CP are working with a leading national FM provider who is looking for an Electrical Maintenance Supervisor to join their team covering the central belt of Scotland.

In this role you will lead the technical team in the delivery of PPM and Reactive maintenance services. This role will require you to supervise your technicians and clients, ensuring good working relationships are maintained and built upon.

You will be the first line in all maintenance issues throughout your allocated sites. You may be required to request specialist attendance following initial call out.

JOB PURPOSE:

  • Complete the Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) schedule within agreed timescales and to ensure all necessary paperwork is completed accurately and returned with certification
  • Respond promptly and positively to service call requests from the Helpdesk and to assess the requirements of the job and to ensure repairs are carried out as and where necessary.
  • Ensure that all sites within the Area are covered on a 24/7 basis to deliver both reactive and planned maintenance.
  • Identify non-repairable faults in plant and machinery and promptly advise the Line Manager of findings, with recommendations regarding suitable replacement.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Electrical and mechanical fault diagnosis associated with the PPM or Reactive maintenance of the site.
  • Repair and maintenance of electrical - mechanical & control systems associated with heating and ventilation Building Services.
  • Repair and maintenance of lighting and distribution systems.
  • Repair and maintenance of Gas, Plumbing, or Mechanical systems
  • To attend monthly meetings as required.
  • To provide survey reports in relation to work and equipment as required.
  • To provide costs for additional - lifecycle replacement works as required
  • To proactively work towards the growth of the contract primarily on mechanical and electrical, systems covering lifecycle replacements, project works, etc

Qualifications
* City & Guilds Parts SVQ 2/3 IN Service & Maintenance or recognised equivalent; or
* Service & Maintenance Apprenticeship - gained within the building maintenance industry; or recognised apprenticeship as a heating engineer / electrical engineer
* Health and Safety Training
* Experience with similar maintenance duties including fault diagnosis and rectification.
* Experience in mechanical & electrical aspects of general building PPM schedules
* Experience in mechanical & electrical installation, repair, and maintenance work
* Gas Safe qualified
* IPAF Operators Licence 3a + 3b
* PASMA Certified
* Harness
* Appointed Mechanical Authorised person
* Supervisory experience
