Your new companyWe are delighted to present to the market a rarely available and exciting opportunity to join our client's fast-growing Technical Services Division whilst delivering an almost unrivalled benefits & work/life balance package. Your new roleAs the Team Manager of our client's Projects Team, your role will be to take ownership over the development of the organisation's property portfolio through identifying opportunities for improvements, refurbishment, repurposing and managing new build developments. Your duties will include, but not be limited to:* Manage professional and technical staff in efficient delivery to meet challenging timescales within budget requirements.* Manage the Capital Plan.* Deliver capital projects to improve and enhance the existing portfolio within budget and to programme.* Provide due diligence over related investments.* Assemble and manage professional/technical team(s)in a collaborative working environment.* Identify opportunities for redevelopment, repurposing, rationalisation of the portfolio.* Procurement and management of supply chains.* Resource management, programming, management and cost control of projects.* Performance management of projects teams.* Ensure compliance with statutory requirements such as CDM duties, HASWA, Equality Act 2010, Asbestos and Legionella.* Prepare and deliver credible, accurate and timely reports providing professional advice and recommendations to the Board, funder and other statutory deadlines.* Responsible for ensuring Health and Safety and risk management procedures are understood and adhered to.What you'll need to succeedTo thrive in this role, you will be an experienced Project Manager with a track record of successful delivery & a track record of operational staff management. Our client is looking for someone who is a member of their industry body and ideally is chartered - however they are very receptive to candidates who come from either surveying/architecture background.
