Working for a reputable business in the energy from waste sector who are looking to bring on board a contracts manager to join their contracts team, travelling across Scotland, visiting existing clients, identifying new business opportunities and managing contracts with the local authorities.
**Responsibilities**
Monitor and develop action plans to seek to adopt continuous improvement in contract performance.
- To liaise with operations, fuel suppliers to ensure fuel quality and adherence to site rules.
- To develop and manage contingency plans
- To liaise with site management to ensure that fuel supply volumes are sourced and maintained
- To develop and maintain the contract risk register, ensuring legislative compliance and ensuring adherence to Company policies and procedures.
- Manage contracts with the local authorities
- New business development opportunities / existing client visits
**Requirements**
- Previous experience working within the waste sector is highly advantageous
- Previous experience as a contracts manager/account management
- Background in managing numerous contracts and building client relationships is essential
