Working for a reputable business in the energy from waste sector who are looking to bring on board a contracts manager to join their contracts team, travelling across Scotland, visiting existing clients, identifying new business opportunities and managing contracts with the local authorities.

**Responsibilities**

Monitor and develop action plans to seek to adopt continuous improvement in contract performance.
To liaise with operations, fuel suppliers to ensure fuel quality and adherence to site rules.
To develop and manage contingency plans
To liaise with site management to ensure that fuel supply volumes are sourced and maintained
To develop and maintain the contract risk register, ensuring legislative compliance and ensuring adherence to Company policies and procedures.
Manage contracts with the local authorities
New business development opportunities / existing client visits

**Requirements**

Previous experience working within the waste sector is highly advantageous
Previous experience as a contracts manager/account management
Background in managing numerous contracts and building client relationships is essential
