Are you an experienced Care Manager, Nurse, Senior Carer?

Have you ever considered stepping into a Healthcare Trainer role but feel you lack the formal teaching or training experience?

At ASA Recruitment, we are looking for a Healthcare Trainer-and we'll provide all the support, training, and qualifications you need to thrive in this role.

As our internal Healthcare Trainer, you'll deliver mandatory training courses and inductions to Care Assistants, Support Workers and Nurses across our four offices in Scotland. While you can be based full-time at one of our regional offices, this role does involve travel to provide face-to-face training, including compliance updates and refresher courses.

Key Responsibilities: -

  • Delivering engaging, informative training sessions to ensure our colleagues continue to provide top-quality care including learner assessment.
  • Regularly reviewing training content to maintain compliance, quality standards and continuous improvement based on learner feedback and best practice.

Skills and Attributes required: -

  • Significant experience in a care setting as a Manager, Nurse or Senior Carer.
  • Passion for delivering a first-class service and a commitment to continuous improvement.
  • Stellar communication, organisation and administrative skills with strong attention to detail.
  • The ability to use initiative.
  • Good problem-solving skills.
  • Effective time management, planning and organisational skills.
  • Drive and resilience.
  • Proficiency in IT skills.

It would be advantageous if you're already experienced in delivering healthcare training. However, if you come from a clinical background and are passionate about improving quality standards, we are committed to supporting you with the formal training qualifications to help you succeed.

  • Working hours are 8AM-5PM, Mon-Fri
  • You will also have 31 days holiday entitlement, which rises to a maximum 38 days in line with length of service and an ability to gain an additional day off for your birthday for low absence levels within the prior year
