Reporting to the Head of Apprenticeships, you will:• Lead operational delivery to achieve high levels of learner and employer satisfaction.• Develop strategies to drive business growth, enhance quality, and support learner success.• Build senior-level partnerships with funding agencies, industry federations, and delivery partners to maximise opportunities.• Manage and inspire teams to foster a culture of inclusion, development, and excellence.• Ensure compliance with funding, contractual, and quality standards while driving continuous improvement.• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align operations with organisational goals and industry demands.What We’re Looking For in the Apprenticeship Operations ManagerEssential Requirements:• Significant senior leadership experience in the Apprenticeships or Further Education (FE) sector.• Demonstrated expertise in leading initiatives focused on learning, development, and talent management.• Comprehensive knowledge of apprenticeship delivery, including Scottish Apprenticeship Funding rules.• Proven ability to manage performance effectively, including managing teams and supporting managers to achieve their goals.• Experience managing budgets and overseeing geographically dispersed teams.• Strong background in applying continuous improvement methodologies to enhance operations and outcomes.• Strategic thinker with exceptional leadership abilities and the capability to build and maintain impactful relationships.• Full UK Driving Licence with the flexibility to travel extensively across Scotland.Additional Requirements:• National travel with occasional overnight stays.• Enhanced DBS clearance and satisfactory employment checks.Why Join This Organisation?This is an exciting opportunity to join a forward-thinking organisation that values innovation, inclusivity, and professional growth.
