Meraki Talent are supporting a leading Financial Services firm in Edinburgh who are looking to appoint a Learning & Development consultant, initially for 6months.  Are you passionate about learning and development and eager to make a difference in a dynamic organization?  Our client are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented individual to help shape our approach to online training and compliance education.  About the RoleAs a Learning and Development Specialist, you’ll play a key role in supporting learning and development initiatives. Working closely with subject matter experts and senior stakeholders, you’ll design and implement tailored online training modules to empower colleagues and enhance client delivery.This is an exciting opportunity to combine your technical expertise and creative problem-solving skills in a collaborative and fast-paced environment.  Key Responsibilities
  • Contribute to the delivery and management of our mandatory compliance training transformation programme.
  • Support the development and execution of our in-house mandatory training strategy.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to create engaging and effective training modules.
  • Provide consistent, professional support across various training activities to meet stakeholder needs.
  • Generate timely and accurate management information to inform future training strategies.
  • Identify and recommend improvements to systems and processes, raising challenges as needed.
  • Participate in wider team projects to complement compliance training delivery.
  What We’re Looking ForTo excel in this role, you’ll need:
  • Experience in a training environment, ideally within Financial Services, with a focus on blended learning programmes.
  • Proficiency with digital training authoring tools and SCORM packages.
  • Knowledge of learning and development software, theories, and instructional design models.
  • Strong project management, organizational, and multitasking skills.
  • Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
  • A meticulous approach to governance and version control protocols.
