Your new companyA known builders merchant company is working with Hays to find a candidate who will join them as a credit controller. This individual will join on an interim basis, with the possibility of the position being made permanent. The position is office based with the offices being based in Glasgow. Hybrid work is on offer should the role become permanent. The hours of work will be Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 5.30pm. On-site parking is available with great public transport links.Your new roleReporting to the credit manager, you will be responsible for chasing debt via telephone and email, cash postings, allocations, handling client queries, opening new accounts, credit checking, general accounts receivable administration, sales ledger invoicing, liaising with key internal and external stakeholders and general associated credit control admin.What you'll need to succeedTo be successful in this role, you must have had previous experience in a similar position with the ability to come in and hit the ground running. You must also have the ability to communicate clearly with others in both written and verbal formats.
