Location: Glasgow (Office Based)

Salary: up to c.£27k (DOE)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Reviewing customer credit and making approval or denial decisions based on industry standards
  • Resolving queries and disputes for billing
  • Negotiating payment plans and establishing terms and conditions
  • Coordinating repayment schedules and collaborating with Debt Counsellors
  • Monitoring timely payments and posting daily payments
  • Initiating legal action and liaising with Solicitors and Bailiffs where appropriate
  • Keeping precise and up-to-date records
  • Preparing aged debtors reports

Experience:

  • Minimum of 1 year credit control experience in a similar high-volume environment
  • Ability to work cohesively and effectively in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office such as Excel (pivot tables/V-Look Ups), Outlook, and Word
  • Proven ability to work to deadlines and prioritise workload
  • Dynamic, personable individual who thrives in a collaborative team environment
