We are collaborating with a company to recruit an Operational Reporting and MI Analyst to join their team. This position is available in several locations, including Edinburgh, Glasgow, Ipswich, and Salisbury, with a competitive salary ranging from £30,000 to £35,000.

About the Role:We’re seeking an analytically driven individual to join the Operations team, focusing on developing operational reporting and management information (MI) for both internal and external audiences. This role involves close collaboration with customer-facing Operations teams as well as the Business Intelligence and Data Governance teams within IT to optimise MI and reporting for the benefit of the business, advisor partner firms, and customers. Your contribution will be essential to the mission of providing proactive service—a key component of future success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the Business Intelligence and Data Governance teams to extract data from various sources, including platform technology and back-office partners, to create relevant MI and reporting for both internal and external audiences.
  • Develop ongoing tracking metrics for key account firms, providing insights into critical processes.
  • Identify and implement automation opportunities for reporting and MI generation, working closely with Business Intelligence and Data Governance teams.
  • Build a shared sales and operations dashboard to reflect current service levels across key account firms.
  • Create operational dashboards for governance committees at various levels (Operational, Executive, Board).
  • Prepare operational reports and MI focused on specific areas as needed (e.g., transfer-out reports).
  • Take accountability to deliver positive outcomes for customers.
  • Adhere to the Code of Conduct at all times.

  • Strong analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and the ability to distil complex data into actionable insights.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, with robust data manipulation skills.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities, with an emphasis on data validation and accuracy.
  • Skilled in analysing both historical and current data to discern trends and identify relevant insights.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, able to tailor messaging to different audiences.
  • Collaborative team player, comfortable working across departments with various stakeholders.
