Active Directory Consultant - Glasgow (Hybrid) - 2/3 months - Market rates (inside ir35)

My client is a global health care provider. They are on the hunt for a Active Directory DBA/Consultant to work as part of the Identity & Access Management team assist in a clean-up and simplification of Active Directory groups and Organisational Units (OUs).

Duties:

  • Assist with a clean-up of service accounts and other Identity Management tasks.
  • Delivers professional activities in the Database Administration & Management job family.
  • Participates in the design, creation, and maintenance of computerised databases.
  • Responsible for quality control and auditing of databases to ensure accurate and appropriate use of data.
  • Works with management to develop database strategies to support company needs.
  • Consults with and advises users on access to various databases.
  • Works directly with users to resolve data conflicts and inappropriate data usage.
  • Directs the maintenance and use of the corporate data dictionary.
  • Applies standard techniques and procedures to routine instructions that require professional knowledge in specialist areas.
  • Provides standard professional advice and creates initial reports/analyses for review.
  • May provide guidance, coaching, and direction to more junior members of the team in Database Administration.
