My large client in the utilities sector is currently looking for a Project Data Analyst to join them on a 12 month contract basis to work within their Projects Services team, supporting the execution of one of their major Offshore Wind Farms. You will be supporting the successful construction and commissioning of the project, including reviewing and analysing performance data, trend analysis and provision of insights to the Project Leadership Team.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • The review and analysis of large volumes of data related to fabrication, assembly, installation and commissioning progress
  • Collaborating with project stakeholders to understand their reporting requirements, providing a range of regular consolidated reports and data to the Senior Project Manager, Package Managers and Project Management Team.
  • Developing dashboards and data visualisation platforms for senior project stakeholders
  • Performing light touch project management of "mini projects", driving delivery and reporting on these on a regular basis

Skills that would make you successful in this role:

  • Experience in a Project / PMO Analyst role supporting fast paced, complex projects
  • Ability to produce clear and concise information and recommendations from complex data sets to senior stakeholders
  • Excellent Microsoft Office, Power BI, and Azure DevOps skills
  • An understanding of Project Planning, Risk Management, Cost Control and Governance on complex projects
