We are seeking a knowledgeable and motivated Ecologist to join a leading provider of rail and infrastructure solutions. Operating across Scotland, this role offers the opportunity to work on impactful projects that balance development with environmental stewardship.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conducting ecological surveys and assessments, including habitat surveys and protected species monitoring.
- Preparing high-quality ecological reports and mitigation plans to support project delivery.
- Advising project teams on ecological constraints and opportunities during the planning and construction phases.
- Ensuring compliance with environmental legislation and industry standards.
- Liaising with clients, stakeholders, and regulatory bodies to achieve positive outcomes for biodiversity.

Qualifications:
- A degree in Ecology, Environmental Science, or a related field.
- Experience conducting ecological surveys and producing detailed reports.
- Knowledge of UK environmental legislation and best practices.
- Membership of CIEEM (or working towards it) is desirable.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work in dynamic environments.
