Mechanical Supervisor - Glasgow - £55 per hour (Outside IR35) – (SC Cleared role)
Opportunity:
Ford & Stanley Talentwise is currently partnered with a specialist design, build, and manufacturing consultancy responsible for many world-first projects.
Specific areas of expertise include the design, build, and manufacture of bespoke lifting solutions within Defence & Aerospace.
Our client has several highly confidential and security-sensitive projects and requires a well-seasoned Mechanical Supervisor to ensure the safe and successful delivery of Mechanical installation works on-site.
This individual will oversee the delivery plan related to mechanical installation, ensuring the work is always completed safely. They will become appointed as the Authorised Person (AP) and work primarily on permit to work and risk assessments.
Candidate Essentials:
- Time served mechanical supervisor experience, relating to industrial lifting solutions.
- Heavily regulated industry experience, working in a relevant sector such as defence, aerospace, oil and gas, nuclear, petrochemical, or bulk handling
- Able to gain SC Clearance (British Born)
Candidate Desirables:
- Hold C&G Working at Height and Harness Training qualifications
