Fibre Infrastructure Design and Installation EngineerGlasgow area, with travel across Scotland£40-45K plus car/car allowance plus bonus plus excellent pension plus 25 days leaveAre you an engineer with experience of the fibre telecom infrastructure sector, and a background in design, looking for a varied and senior level position with a major player in the sector?The role is with an award winning (6 years in a row) national multi utility renowned for their professionalism and how the support and develop their staff. This position is to manage the fibre optic delivery process in Scotland for my client. It will be a combination of hands on design work (40%) with field based work visiting sites and coordinating installation delivery (60%). You will lead a small team of Fibre Engineers (6-8). Training will be provided and my client isn't expecting applicants to have every skill/experience, but Fibre industry knowledge and CAD skills are a must. So this is an opportunity to develop your skill-set and broaden your experience. The Role
- Full time permanent position with a large, national utility infrastructure company.
- Fibre network design
- Field based work managing the on-site delivery of fibre networks

The Person
- Academic/working background within engineering
- Experience of working in the fibre optic infrastructure sector ideally with knowledge of PIA networks
- Working experience of fibre installation design using CAD
- UK driving licence and willing to travel across Scotland
