Escape Recruitment Services Commercial Division are recruitment for our client, a successful engineering organisation based in the Glasgow area, they have an excellent opportunity for an experienced Administrator to join them on a permanent basis to support a team of engineers.

Responsibilities Include

  • Collate, process and quality check engineers' timesheets on time & attendance system
  • Order materials for a number of sites, ensuring prompt delivery to meet deadline
  • Build strong relationships with key suppliers
  • Raise purchase orders
  • Create, print, and issue documentation and files
  • Collate and record data for a number of sites
  • Create reports using MS Word and Excel
  • General ad-hoc administration support

Background Required

  • Previous experience of working in a varied Administration position, ideally within a manufacturing &/or engineering environment
  • Confident IT skills which should include MS Word, Excel, Outlook and ideally CRM/database systems
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy skills are required
  • Good communication skills, able to build strong relationships internally and externally
  • Able to work in a fast-paced, varied role with the ability to change priorities depending on the needs of the team and business
