Mac Recruit Group is delighted to represent our client, a UK wide energy from waste organisation. Due to continued growth, a Lead Control and Instrumentation Technician is required to join their facility in Glasgow.

Lead Control and Instrumentation Technician duties:

  • Responsible for the day-to-day supervision, planning and delivery of maintenance activities, replacement and repair of the control and instrumentation equipment.
  • Provide overall support to other disciplines as necessary using experience and skills. Assisting in the co-ordination and management of contracts and contractors as required
  • Ensuring a safe and efficient working environment, the Lead C&I Technician
  • Supporting outage planning and management of site projects, whilst driving health and safety culture and ensuring the efficient running of the site

Lead Control and Instrumentation Technician requirements:

  • Knowledge of repair methods of C&IEquipment and preventative maintenance work
  • Knowledge of preventative maintenance and work management systems
  • TheCity & Guilds / NVQLevel 3(or equivalent)including recognised trade specific apprenticeship
