North Star is recruiting for a Cyber Security Engineer to join a real Scottish success story on a permanent basis in the Glasgow area. This role has a hybrid working pattern.

The business is investing heavily in its IT infrastructure, ERP and technical capability. As part of this investment, they have a new opportunity for a Cyber Security specialist to join the team. You'll need around 2 - 3 years + experience of more to deliver in this role.
To be considered you need
- the right to work in the UK, there is no sponsorship available
- live within reasonable travel distance of the Glasgow area
- have Cyber Security experience
- Cyber Security qualifications e.g. CCP, CISSP, CISM
- patching and patch management (Microsoft Azure and on-prem)
- experience managing risk (NIST, ISO 27001)
- threat monitoring
- optimisation of tools e.g. Sophos, Barracuda, Mimecast, Defender, Fortinet, Netscope etc
This job has great prospects as the business works towards Cyber Essentials Plus and ISO27001. As the business continues to grow, it is likely you'll have the chance to build and manage a small team working under you!
