Job Title: Performance & Engagement Consultant

Contract: 6 months contract initially

Location: Glasgow

I am currently recruiting for an experienced Performance & Engagement Consultant to join our clients HR Shared services team. This is a key role that will directly influence our ability to drive performance, enhance employee engagement, and deliver strong people solutions across the business.

You will join our client, who are one of the UK's largest high street financial groups, who offer a fantastic employee experience, whilst offering flexible and hybrid working. You will work Monday - Friday 9am - 5pm with flexible core hours. The salary is £35.64 per hour, offering a highly competitive market rate.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and manage performance management systems to support individual and team growth.
  • Collaborate with leaders and HR teams to ensure alignment with organisational goals and performance expectations
  • Provide insights and recommendations based on performance data to enhance productivity and employee development
  • Conduct engagement surveys, analyse results, and work closely with leadership to develop and implement action plans
  • Partner with HR and leadership teams to design programs that support employee well-being, satisfaction, and retention
  • Provide guidance and expertise in creating performance-driven teams that are aligned with business objectives
  • Use data and analytics to track performance and engagement trends, providing actionable insights to senior management

Experience Required:

  • Qualification in Human Resources, or a related field (a Master's degree or relevant certifications is a plus)
  • In-depth knowledge of performance management systems, employee engagement frameworks, and change management principles
  • Strong communication, coaching, and consulting skills with the ability to influence and engage at all levels of the organisation
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and strategic thinking abilities
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple competing priorities
