One of the UK's very well established firm of M&E and sustainability engineers search for a Building Physics / Senior Engineer to join their modern, Glasgow office. This organisation are known for their low staff turnover and their commitment to developing and progressing staff. They have regular social events and have an excellent history and reputation when it comes to Sustainability.

Role

This role focuses on the performance of buildings in terms of energy efficiency, comfort and sustanabilty. You will use IES-VE to carry out various modelling studies including:

  • TM54 Operational Energy
  • TM59 / Part O Thermal Comfort
  • UK Building Regulations compliance
  • Passive / Active Design studies to inform NZC strategies

Qualifications / Experience

  • Degree in mechanical, architectural engineering, sustainability or a related field is essential
  • Proficiency in software tools such as IES-VE
  • Familiarity with local and international building codes
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines
  • Ability to create written reports
