Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Cable Package Manager to join our team for a 12-month contract. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Offshore Wind projects, with specific experience in European Offshore Wind Projects. This role is crucial for the successful delivery of our offshore wind farm projects, ensuring that all cable installation activities are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the cable package for offshore wind projects, including planning, design, procurement, installation, and commissioning.
  • Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Oversee the development and implementation of cable installation strategies and methodologies.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations.
  • Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation measures.
  • Prepare and present regular progress reports to senior management and project stakeholders.
  • Manage project budgets and ensure cost-effective solutions are implemented.
  • Lead and mentor a team of engineers and technicians.


Requirements:

  • Proven experience in managing cable packages for offshore wind projects.
  • Specific experience with European Offshore Wind Projects.
  • Strong knowledge of offshore wind farm construction and installation processes.
  • Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams.
  • In-depth understanding of health, safety, and environmental regulations in the offshore wind sector.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Relevant engineering degree or equivalent qualification.
  • Experience with HVDC (High Voltage Direct Current) systems.
  • Professional certifications in project management (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) - Desirable
  • Familiarity with contract management and procurement processes.
