Business Intelligence Developer

I am working with an International Law firm who are looking for a Business Intelligence Developer for a 12-month FTC.

The company:

They operate in all of the worlds key global financial centres and provide a full range of legal services across different industries. You will join a tight-knit team with low churn and a very flexible hybrid setup. Their modern office is based just minutes’ walk from central station, so easily commutable from central Scotland.

The Role:

The current focus is on delivering legacy system support, however there's an exciting roadmap to eventually move to the cloud. This role will be essential in solving current capacity issues and ensuring the team isn’t forced to migrate without fixing the existing problems. Essentially, you will be the backbone to future projects.

** Building and developing data warehouses from the ground up.

** Utilizing Kimball methodology extensively for data warehousing.

** Working with SQL Server in an on-premise environment.

** Handling data modelling and using SSIS, SQL Server Analysis Services (AS), and SQL Server Reporting Services (RS).

Key Skills and Experience:

**Senior level or multiple years of hands-on experience

** Proven expertise in Kimball methodology and data warehousing.

** Microsoft SQL Server

** Strong work ethic with a "ready to go" attitude.
