Experts in railway electrification engineering across the UK and Europe require an experienced Environmental Advisor to join their team in the Glasgow area.
Tasks:
- Provide advice on all things environmental across the business
- Maintain and share a strong understanding of environmental regulations and sustainability practices
- Ensure compliance with Network Rail standards, such as NR015-L2-ENV-015
- Create and review Environmental and Social Management Plans, Site Waste Management Plans and Incident Response Plans, including all relevant documentation
- Review environmental management requirements
- Put together consent applications and pre-application consultations
- Ensure all environmental data is recorded correctly and available for review
- Develop and deliver environmental training, covering toolbox talks, specific training courses and site inspections
Requirements:
- Environmental qualification
- Previous experience as an Environmental Advisor within the railway, construction, highways or utilities industries
- Understanding of UK legislation governing environmental management
- Appreciation of Network Rail standards
- Member of IEMA
- Driving licence
