Role Overview

Seeking an experienced Planning & Environmental Specialist to manage planning and environmental compliance for UK onshore wind projects, focusing on Scotland. The role involves securing consents, discharging planning conditions, and ensuring regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee planning and environmental compliance for wind farm projects.
  • Manage stakeholder engagement with regulators and local authorities.
  • Prepare and submit planning and environmental applications.
  • Provide expert advice on planning regulations and environmental impact.
  • Manage consultants and ensure project timelines are met.
Requirements
  • 7+ years’ experience in planning/environmental consenting for major infrastructure.
  • Strong knowledge of UK & Scottish planning regulations (e.g., Section 36, EIA, Habitats Regulations).
  • Excellent stakeholder management and problem-solving skills.
  • Full driving licence and willingness to travel.
