Position Overview: The Assistant General Manager will play a crucial role in supporting the General Manager in the day-to-day operations of our events business. This role requires a proactive and organized individual with a passion for event management and exceptional leadership skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the General Manager in overseeing all aspects of event planning and execution, including logistics, staffing, and client relations.
- Coordinate with clients to understand their needs and ensure their events are executed flawlessly.
- Manage and train event staff, ensuring high standards of service and professionalism.
- Oversee the scheduling and management of staff shifts.
- Handle customer inquiries, feedback, and complaints in a professional and courteous manner.
- Collaborate with the General Manager to develop and implement marketing and promotional strategies.
- Monitor financial performance and assist in budget management.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in a managerial role within the events or hospitality industry.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills.

- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
