I am working alongside an accountancy practice based in Glasgow who are looking to add a Payroll Assistant Manager or Payroll Manager to their established firm.
This role is for a well-established practise, having an office in both Edinburgh and Glasgow, they are seeking either a Payroll manager or Assistant Payroll Manager to push their growth plans forward.
This role is hybrid, with you expected in the office one or two days a week in the office, as the company prides itself on it's flexibility and by being a great place to work
Key Duties/Tasks:
* Knowledge of NI, Tax and Statutory Payments
* Support the busy payroll department
* High volume, fast paced role
* Managing your own portfolio of clients
* Client payroll experience preferred but not essential
* Provide comprehensive advice to employees in relation to payroll queries over the phone and by email
* CIPP qualification is desirable
* Working to multiple deadlines
* Manual and automated calculations
