OVERVIEW 

We are seeking an experienced Account Handler to join our clients team, where you will be responsible for managing corporate client accounts within the renewals lifecycle process. This includes renewal administration, negotiation with underwriters, and ensuring compliance with regulatory guidelines. 

RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Build and maintain strong client relationships
  • Prepare accurate client documents and seek alternative quotations
  • Handle mid-term adjustments and client queries
  • Ensure accurate record-keeping and timely data entry
  • Liaise with insurers and process policies
  • Manage account queries and credit control matters
  • Adhere to legal and regulatory policies

QUALIFICATIONS & KNOWLEDGE 

  • Chartered Insurance Institute Qualification (ACII / Dip CII / Cert CII)
  • Proficiency in Acturis

DAY-TO-DAY 

  • As an Account Handler, you will be preparing client documents, handling adjustments, and ensuring compliance with regulatory guidelines.
  • You will also be liaising with clients and insurers to provide exceptional service and support.

EXPERIENCE 

  • You will have substantial experience as an Account Manager, with a strong understanding of customer service, negotiation, and broking within the insurance industry.
  • Experience with corporate or larger commercial clients
  • Mid-Corporate and Corporate client exposure in various sectors is highly desirable.
  • Knowledge of cross class risks such as Property, Casualty, and Professional Indemnity

SKILLS 

  • Thoroughness in conducting administrative and policy reviews.
  • Strong dedication to delivering exceptional client service.
  • Proactive in recognising potential risks or issues and seeking guidance when necessary.
